VSTECS Berhad released its second quarter financial results for the three months ended 30 June 2025 (“2Q FY2025”), reporting a 32% year-on-year spike in net profit to RM20 million.

In 2Q FY2025, VSTECS clocked in revenue of RM818.9 million, marking an impressive 31% increase compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Strong double-digit growth was reported across all three business segments, being ICT Distribution, Enterprise Systems, and ICT Services. The ICT Distribution segment, which focuses on consumer ICT products, posted revenue increase of 30% YoY, driven by ongoing device replacement cycles and rising demand for lifestyle technology products, including AI-enabled devices.

The Enterprise Systems segment was boosted by higher momentum in public sector projects during the quarter, contributing to a 32% increase in revenue YoY. Meanwhile, the ICT Services segment continued its pace, registering a 30% YoY increase in revenue, buoyed by sustained demand for cloud solutions and related services. Profit after tax and Minority Interest (“PATAMI”) for 2Q FY2025 was RM20.2 million, as compared to RM15.2 million in 2Q FY2024.

In the first six (6) months of the year (“6M FY2025”), the Group posted a 22% revenue growth to reach RM1.51 billion, as compared to RM1.24 billion in 6M FY2024. PATAMI growth outpaced revenue, increasing by 28% to RM37.9 million. As of 30 June 2025, the net cash position stood at RM84.4 million, positioning VSTECS to capitalise on business expansion opportunities with a solid balance sheet.
